A Troubled Childhood...

Hello! My name is Randy Cutter and I am new to teenhelp.org. This is my blog about me and my life experiences. I have been through a lot in my life and only want to help others, with the life lessons that I have learned.
Just a little about myself....
I was born in Jacksonville, FL. I didn't live there long, as we moved around a lot. It seemed that each year we were in a different city or state. I believe a lot of this had to do with my father's job (we'll get more into that later on).
I am currently 30 years old, divorced (another life lesson, lol....kidding :P), and have a 7 year old BEAUTIFUL little girl that I love more than anything in this world.....even chocolate!
I had a rough childhood growing up, and learned so many things, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. A lot of people regret their childhood (or even events in their adult life), but everything that we go through makes us who we are today.
This is why I'm here. I have an absolute great outlook on life. Especially when I have had lots of people tell me that I shouldn't; considering what I've been through.
You see, my father was always gone (for work) and my mother became an alcoholic when I was around 5 years old. She wasn't just any alcoholic; she was a MEAN alcoholic or a "mean drunk" as they are sometimes called. Seeing the things that I seen, at that age, were life changing. No, I didn't understand at the time, but those were some of the most messed up times of my life and as I got older, I finally realized what exactly I had seen from my childhood.
Not only was my mother an alcoholic, she was also very heavy into drugs. Marijuana and crack mostly. With my father eventually working out of state, he would come home every weekend on Saturday, and then leave back out again on Sunday. Not knowing this until later in life, but my mother cheated on my father with numerous men. Even witnessed her get beat by a few of them.
Anyhow, there is so much more to my life than that. I'll leave it there for now. I'll be sure to post more in the days to come, and help anyone with questions the best that I can. I hope everyone has a great day!
