So nice of you to drop by, thank you so much for doing so! In case you don't happen to know who I am, my name is Mark. I'm a 23-year old who's currently building a life that I want to enjoy for the long term. This blog is designed for young adults who seek guidance and clarity on the problems that life often throws at us. What you will gain from reading my blog entries is the wisdom that I've learned along the way that has helped me create and live a better life. You can absolutely do the same. If you happen to read some of my oldest entries, you will notice how I've changed along the way compared to now.

I want to remind you that we all go through challenges and obstacles. We can't go back and change what happened. All we can do is our best at the end of the day and learn from experience so we don't end up repeating the same mistakes.

If you ever want to message me about anything, feel free to PM me and I will answer back as soon as possible.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great day wherever you are in whatever time zone you are in!

I'm sure we've all felt this way
At some point in our life.

Sometimes, it can be
The little things
That just blows a fuse in us,
And causes us
To react out of emotion.

It could be something we read,
It could be something we heard,
From someone who we came across
Either in person or on social media,
It could be something we witnessed,
It could be something so small
Such as a missed ride,
And you now know you're late
To wherever you need to be at.

We get so absorbed in the moment
That we really don't stop to think
About what this thing
We've really gotten mad about,
And we just purely react than respond.

Is it worth throwing a public tantrum over?

Is it worth being moody?

Is it worth ruining your whole day?

Generally speaking, we human beings
Get so upset and mad over so many things,
Especially over very stupid things.

We don't really look at things
From a different perspective
Because our mind is so clouded
That we choose to be stuck
Inside our own personal bubble,
And be mad about whatever it is
That we're so mad about.

But don't get me wrong.
It's only natural for us
To feel such frustration and anger
Because we're only human.

However...

Does that mean you should take
Out all your anger on someone,
Who had nothing to do with
This "bad thing" that happened?

No. You shouldn't.

It's not worth causing a commotion
Over something as little as
Not getting your 10 cents grocery bag
That you paid for.

It's not worth causing a commotion
Over something as "big" as
Someone having a different opinion
Than yours, and you get offended by that.

It's fascinating how people choose
To get angry over such stupid things,
But yet they don't really take the time
To re-evaluate themselves
And think about how they're behaving.

No matter what it may be,
Or no matter how wrong you think
The other person is about what they did,
Ask yourself...

Is it worth my time to cause
A scene and be a jackass
Only to prove my own righteousness?

Or do I choose to be a better person
And not let my emotions
Get the better of me?
