So nice of you to drop by, thank you so much for doing so! In case you don't happen to know who I am, my name is Mark. I'm a 23-year old who's currently building a life that I want to enjoy for the long term. This blog is designed for young adults who seek guidance and clarity on the problems that life often throws at us. What you will gain from reading my blog entries is the wisdom that I've learned along the way that has helped me create and live a better life. You can absolutely do the same. If you happen to read some of my oldest entries, you will notice how I've changed along the way compared to now.

I want to remind you that we all go through challenges and obstacles. We can't go back and change what happened. All we can do is our best at the end of the day and learn from experience so we don't end up repeating the same mistakes.

If you ever want to message me about anything, feel free to PM me and I will answer back as soon as possible.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great day wherever you are in whatever time zone you are in!

Tragedies.

The news covers so much
Of this, and eventually,
It's all over the Internet,
It's all over social media.

People get all emotional
And sympathetic,
And times like these is
When everyone comes together
And shares their love and compassion
Towards one another.

Not bashing on any of this
As it's always moving
To see people show sympathy
Towards one another
And showing support,
But I find it pretty shocking
That people don't do this all the time.

Don't get me wrong.

There's nothing wrong with
Showing sympathy, love, and all those things
When such tragedies happen,
But why can't we all be like this
All the time,
Even when no tragedy happens?

It's like when someone dies and passes away,
Everyone then all of a sudden cares,
But when that person was alive,
Hardly anyone cared about that person.

Pretty crazy, I know,
But this does happen.

How about we be more compassionate?

How about we be more loving
Towards one another?

How about we start giving a damn
If we haven't started to already?

If this world is going to get any better,
It's important that we stand together,
Regardless of whatever differences
We may have with one another.

Tragedies do bring people together,
But how about when tragedies
Are not happening,
That we become a more caring,
More loving, more compassionate
Group of human beings?

Tragedies shouldn't be
The only time that people
Come together, nor should it be
The only time
That people care...
