So nice of you to drop by, thank you so much for doing so! In case you don't happen to know who I am, my name is Mark. I'm a 23-year old who's currently building a life that I want to enjoy for the long term. This blog is designed for young adults who seek guidance and clarity on the problems that life often throws at us. What you will gain from reading my blog entries is the wisdom that I've learned along the way that has helped me create and live a better life. You can absolutely do the same. If you happen to read some of my oldest entries, you will notice how I've changed along the way compared to now.
I want to remind you that we all go through challenges and obstacles. We can't go back and change what happened. All we can do is our best at the end of the day and learn from experience so we don't end up repeating the same mistakes.
If you ever want to message me about anything, feel free to PM me and I will answer back as soon as possible.
Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great day wherever you are in whatever time zone you are in!

"Those Who Cared"
Posted August 25th 2017 at 08:46 AM by CrusadingAvenger
Memories racing through my head
Of everything I've been through,
And everyone that has ever
Come into contact with me.
Just when you think
Those people you used to call
"Close friends," "best friends,"
"Friends until the end," "trusted allies,"
Turned out to be complete lies.
These people never really cared
In the first place about you or me.
You were just a filler,
A placeholder for someone,
So that when the time came
They found better friends,
You were immediately forgotten
Like an old, unwanted toy
Who was loved so much
Then left out in the dark, cold dust
To rot and spend eternity all alone.
It hurts knowing
Those people are cruel,
Those people are merciless,
But even through all that cruelty,
All that mercilessness,
There are still good people out there.
You and me
Just haven't met
Those few good people yet.
It's not your fault.
It's okay.
It's okay if you don't have many friends,
It's okay if you're hurting,
It's okay if you feel hopeless.
Everyone feels this way
At some point in their life,
Even me.
I've been through my fair share,
And I'm sure you've been through
Your fair share too.
Don't ever feel like it's your fault.
You didn't do anything,
There's nothing wrong with you as a person.
Sometimes, people don't deserve
People like you and me.
So smile.
Laugh.
Have fun.
Do something you've always wanted to do.
Be a risk-taker.
Enjoy your days,
Every single minute of it,
Like it is your last.
Have no regrets.
Because several years from now,
The people you were sad about,
The people you spent endless days
Wishing you can have them back,
The people who abandoned you
When you needed them the most,
Will wake up one morning
And realize...
They lost a genuine star.
Of everything I've been through,
And everyone that has ever
Come into contact with me.
