So nice of you to drop by, thank you so much for doing so! In case you don't happen to know who I am, my name is Mark. I'm a 23-year old who's currently building a life that I want to enjoy for the long term. This blog is designed for young adults who seek guidance and clarity on the problems that life often throws at us. What you will gain from reading my blog entries is the wisdom that I've learned along the way that has helped me create and live a better life. You can absolutely do the same. If you happen to read some of my oldest entries, you will notice how I've changed along the way compared to now.

I want to remind you that we all go through challenges and obstacles. We can't go back and change what happened. All we can do is our best at the end of the day and learn from experience so we don't end up repeating the same mistakes.

If you ever want to message me about anything, feel free to PM me and I will answer back as soon as possible.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great day wherever you are in whatever time zone you are in!

In order to make a change in my life, I had to do something different that I've never done before. Something that will require a lot of time and patience, but in the long run, yield a lot of benefits for me. So, I decided to do some research, read some articles, and even watch some advice videos on dating, but also a bit of peer bonding as well as life skills/lessons. I also even used Facebook to my advantage and started asking my friends on there about their opinions regarding teen dating/life. It took me about a little over half a year, but the findings that I found were quite promising.

I'll share a couple of the advices I found that I think are the most essential to us teens in our everyday social life, and here they are:

If you really want someone to like you and be your friend, here's a simple trick: like the person first. This might not always work, but it actually does.

This next one I think is most crucial to not only all of us teens, but in people in general: cynicism. Cynicism is the act of viewing things from a very negative/pessimistic point of view. Those who are cynical usually create a sense of doubt within their own minds about certain things, and therefore, deny themselves from taking any action. This kind of character trait can be difficult to get rid of, but if you start viewing things from a positive point of view, take your chances, and get out of your comfort zone to meet new people (even ones of the opposite sex), you'll start to see changes and feel better about yourself.

So, how did I know that all these things I've learned worked? Simple: I took it into consideration, and took action. It turned out that these skills/techniques actually worked! I started meeting new people without even having the fear of what will they think of me. At that point, I became a much better person than I ever was before with an enhanced up-beat personality, and a good sense of humor.

There you have it. This is how I came to be the person that I am today. My experience with Anne may have dragged me down to the darkest path that I never thought I was capable of undergoing, but in a way, she changed me for the better.
