So nice of you to drop by, thank you so much for doing so! In case you don't happen to know who I am, my name is Mark. I'm a 23-year old who's currently building a life that I want to enjoy for the long term. This blog is designed for young adults who seek guidance and clarity on the problems that life often throws at us. What you will gain from reading my blog entries is the wisdom that I've learned along the way that has helped me create and live a better life. You can absolutely do the same. If you happen to read some of my oldest entries, you will notice how I've changed along the way compared to now.

I want to remind you that we all go through challenges and obstacles. We can't go back and change what happened. All we can do is our best at the end of the day and learn from experience so we don't end up repeating the same mistakes.

If you ever want to message me about anything, feel free to PM me and I will answer back as soon as possible.

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great day wherever you are in whatever time zone you are in!

So you feel like nobody cares about you.

Your “best friend” betrayed you, your boyfriend/girlfriend
dumped you, you get bullied nearly every day, and everything
else with your circumstances is all just a complete disaster
like the whole world crashing down on you.

And here you think if you sit here and write about it,
telling others how you think the world is this merciless,
cold, dark, unwelcoming place based on some bad experiences,
it’s going to make it any better?

You’re just inviting more of the same problem to come in.

It doesn’t matter what the problem is you’re complaining about.

Think of it this way:

Whatever it is you’re upset/sad/angry about,
is it going to matter in 5 years from now?

If the answer is no, then don’t spend more than
5 minutes out of your day being upset about it.

Take responsibility for your own problems.

Figure out what you need to do to make yourself better.

Quit playing the victim and hope that someone
is coming to save you, and that you will finally
have the love and significance you always wanted.

It’s self-destructive behavior and no genuine love
is going to come out of it no matter who you’re with.

Wake up and get yourself together.

Nobody is going to do that for you except yourself.

You have to be the one to solve your problems,
but don’t be afraid/embarrassed to ask someone
to support you while you solve your own problems.

Quit acting so entitled.

While I know you have good intentions and some may find this uplifting, I'd encourage you to be careful with your wording so you don't trivialise or invalidate anyone. Expressing your emotions (yes, even negative emotions) and writing down your thoughts in the heat of the moment/when you're at your worst doesn't make you entitled, or lazy, or any less strong in the face of hardship.

I think you are misinterpreting what I am saying here in my writing. You should look closely at what I'm saying before you assume.

I can see where you're coming from. However, constantly complaining, always focusing on the negative and having the same problems over and over again is an issue. An issue that one needs to address if they are to really solve anything.

Of course, we're all going to have times where it's not going well, and the healthiest thing to do is admit it.

I never said people should keep all their emotions bottled up and never say anything or write it down. The problem is people keep complaining about nearly the same things all the time, but even though they get all the advice in the world, most don't do anything, and they sit and wonder why they keep attracting the same problem. It's just the sad truth.

It's all a mindset thing. You should look into it sometime.

Have a good day wherever you are, and whatever time it is.

I did read through what you said, multiple times, before I commented. I'm happy to discuss this further via PM if you're interested in my point of view, since I don't want to clog up the comments on your blog.
