Daily struggles involving self-injury. Ways to cope. And words of hope.
July 25 Self-Injury FREE!

Today has been a cut free day. I haven't had one of these days in a long time. I have been cutting myself for 1 year and 5 months and I want to share my story.
I believe one of my triggers is when I am exposed to my own wounds so today I covered them up with a long sleeve shirt. I also distracted myself by being involved with my family and friends. I have resisted the urge to cut myself today and hopefully tomorrow will be the same. I hope my strength will last and I hope I can't beat this.
For all of you out there who self-injure there is hope. Don't give up and keep trugging through life. Rely on the devine power from up above to give you strength. When you are in need of love and you feel like there is no one to give it to you, remember God will always be there for you. He is waiting with his arms open wide for you. All you have to do is accept his love. Through God anything is possible. So hold on and keep praying for God will answer you.
Quote of the Day:
Frequently remind yourself that God is with you, that He will never fail you, that you can count upon him. Say these words, "God is with me, helping me."
- Norman Vincent Peale
