He Walked Me to Lunch

Tyler is the guy I like and he walked with me to lunch today. He walked over to the table I sit at, but I was nervous and stupid and just sat down and didn't say any more to him. So he said he'd stop bugging me and went to sit with his friends. I was kicking myself all lunch for not doing something, but then as I was leaving lunch he said bye to me. And we texted a few times tonight. I'm trying to show an intrest in him without being too forward.
I'm new to relationship stuff and so it's really hard for me to know what to do. My mom has been a great source of advice but it doesn't always apply. She still makes me feel better about it. I feel really good about this. 2008 was kinda a rough year for me, but I'm happy now. I feel like I'm smiling more especially at home and I'm always thinking about him. Just hoping he'll ask me out soon because I don't have the guts to do it at least not with my first relationship. But all in all it's very good.
And I see him in 2 classes tomorrow!

I say be forward! If you like the guy, go for it. If you've got it, flaunt it! That sorta thing!
Next time, ask him to sit with you at lunch and then just ask him questions about his life, ones that you don't know yet. Ask him if he likes toasted spaghetti sandwiches.
