The random thoughts that run through my half-insane mind. Ramblings of a kind girl whose been used way too often.
You find out who your friends are

So as some people on here know I graduated about two weeks ago, and already SOOOO much has changed since then. I mean I figured that I wouldn't be seeing my friends everyday, but what bugs me is that they would always say, "Just text me and we'll hang out" etc, etc.
Well I text them and they don't respond. I'm thinking thanks, I guess I don't even deserve an excuse for not seeing me, just don't respond and I'll make one up for you. I know I'm sounding bitchy, but they could at least text back.
My friend, Brooke, had a similar experience. She had to run to the cities for a college test but her mom wouldn't let her go unless she had a friend go with her, because she had never driven in the cities before. She called EVERYONE, she even called her ex-boyfriend, she was that desperate. Then she called me, I was her last hope (as she put it). I said of course, I got nothing going on. (I was sounding a little groggy, I had just woken up )
But the the reason I said this, was because everyone she called (except for her ex) had said the exact same thing before we graduated. "If you need me, just call and I'll be there for you. That's what friends are for." Well, they all had excuses. Brooke told me that the said either they didn't want to, not feeling well, they had to work (that's excuseable though) and one of them said they wanted to hang out with their boyfriend all day.
Brooke said while we where driving, "It's times like this when you find out who your true friends are."
Wow, I didn't expect this one to be long. I know I sound like a bitch in this one, but you have to know my friends to get this I guess.
