So, this week is Christmas. I have all my presents bought, very thing is wrap and under the tree. It should be a very happy time. But as I look around my HOME all i want to do is cry. everything is packed up except for what we really need. Everything is in boxes. We are being evicted. We missed June and Julys rent payment because my soon-to-be mother-in-law was unemployed during the summer. So now....at CHRISTMAS the landlord is evicting us.

My uncle is sick. Months ago he was drinking and driving, got in a wreck, and from that found out that he had cancer. Months later after treatments and a surgery he is cancer-free. During the surgery his blood count droped and they had to give him blood. In doing tests to find out why the found out that he has serosis of the liver. My dad is older than my uncle, they have been drinking the same amount for all their life, How do I convince my dad to get tested, to stop drinking. My dad argues that he went thru a lung disease scar last year, and was test "for everything" then, but how do I get him to understand that my uncle also went thru many test befoer they found this?????????
