Because I should take up potential income when there are other people who probably actually need it more than I do!
(because I'm a horrible person. Deal with it...)
Like every piss-poor person in the country doesn't want one.
Item #: 2
Name: Get a Job!
Set: 15/06/13
Timescale: Short-Term Goals (up to 6 weeks)
Description: I want to get employment. And no, I don't care what it's in.
Having failed for a couple of years to do anything but mow a lawn, I now want to set myself a very short timescale to actually get a job.
I don't mind whether it's something simple like making a website for someone, or harder like redesigning someone's garden. Or, really, anything at all.
But some form of paid employment.
Of course, being fourteen, there's not much I can do - I'd like to try anyway.
So far I've tried settings a job doing...
I'm pretty much out of ideas, but I'm hoping I can find something (or, as you're reading this, tell me in the comments - by the way, there isn't any snow to shovel!). And then I shall have triumphed!
So far, my Maldives fund is up to -£5.99, and redoing calculations I think it's going to cost me £10k or so more than expected.
But if I could do babysitting...well, apart from the odd legal costing for the murder trials, I'd be a millionaire! D
Fun times

Hey,
I have a suggestion, (a really stupid one, but anyway)
Maybe you could go around to the houses of the elderly and ask them if you could do any jobs for them, for example, cleaning windows or hooving carpet.
You could also do this for people with lots of young children and they don't have time to clean or tidy their houses

There are loads of elderly people around here, and I'm sure they'd appreciate some company as much as anything else.
I'm going to try this - thank you .Posted June 18th 2013 at 08:16 PM by Adam the Fish -
